How to Get Rid of Dry Skin?

Most of us have experienced dry, flaky skin (especially during winter), so why does this happen in the first place? And what can you do about it? Keep reading for answers on how to get rid of dry skin.

Tip 1: Choose the right products for your skin type

Look for products with light weight textures if you have oily skin, thick texture products may make your skin oilier; look for rich, thick lotion, cream or serum if you have dry skin; if you have combination skin, you could use both dry and oily skin type products for different areas, such as light, thin gel, lotion for oily areas, and richer, thicker cream, lotion for dry areas.

Tip 2: Use Hydrating Sheet Masks

There are lots of types of hydrating mask on the market, but I like sheet masks the most, that's because they truly deliver results that can't be found elsewhere.

One of the best hydrating sheet mask I've ever tried - Dermalume Hydration, Deep Hydro Sheet Mask. It contains Trehalose and it is a natural sugar found in plants and fungi. It also functions as a moisturizer, skin protectant, and antioxidant.

The sheet mask helps hydrate, soothe, and de-stress skin, it protects your skin from pollution too. It also helps to reset your skin, leaving you feeling ready to take on tomorrow's adventures afresh. It is also safe for pregnancies and suitable for all skin types.

The fabric of the sheet mask is 3D microfibre sheet mask. It is the most commonly used materials in a sheet mask. The materials feel thin, clingy, gloriously soft and able to hold a lot of the serum in it. They have a pretty good fit and absorption capability.

Tip 3: Try a humidifier

What is humidifier? Humidifiers are devices that emit water vapor or steam to increase moisture levels in the air (humidity). Low humidity may be a factor in drying your skin. Use a humidifier in rooms where you spend a lot of times.

Moisture from a humidifier can be helpful around the home. Any moisture-loving houseplants may become more vibrant, and wood floors or furniture may last longer. Humidity can also help to prevent wallpaper from cracking and static electricity from building up. The higher the humidity in the air, the moisture the environment is, as well as your skin.
